Senior Active Living
An active and positive social life is vital to both mental and physical health. Because of its benefits, social programming for seniors has continually increased in demand and popularity. There are different levels of social comfort – from social butterflies to the more conservative – all benefit when engaging with others and in enjoyable activities; it is important to overall health. Feeling comfortable with fellow community members and making new friends can make a world of difference, and in the well-being of your parent or loved one. Another reason why Senior exercise is important is that It also lowers your risk for a variety of conditions, including Alzheimer’s and dementia, heart disease, diabetes, certain cancers, high blood pressure, and obesity.
